Consistency Challenge – BibEvents
1. About the Consistency Challenge
The Consistency Challenge is a digital fitness accountability program operated by BibEvents. Participants commit to completing a defined physical activity goal (such as running, walking, or cycling) for a specified number of consecutive days. Activity tracking and verification are conducted exclusively through Strava integration.
By registering for or participating in the Consistency Challenge, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Participation is voluntary and entirely at your own risk.
2. Participation & Eligibility
By enrolling, you confirm that:
- You are medically fit to participate in physical activity.
- You understand the risks associated with exercise and endurance sports.
- You are participating voluntarily and assume full responsibility for your activities.
- You provide accurate and complete registration information.
BibEvents does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. BibEvents is not responsible for injuries, accidents, health complications, or damages arising from participation in the challenge. Participants are advised to consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning any fitness program.
3. Challenge Rules
Each challenge defines specific activity criteria (such as minimum distance, duration, or activity type) to be completed for the required number of consecutive days.
Conditions:
- All activities must be recorded via Strava.
- Only activities synced through the official Strava integration will be considered valid.
- Manual activity uploads are not accepted.
- Failure to meet daily requirements may result in disqualification.
- No extensions will be granted for missed days.
- Decisions made by BibEvents regarding activity validation and completion status are final.
BibEvents reserves the right to disqualify participants for fraudulent tracking, data manipulation, or misuse of the platform.
4. Strava Integration & Authorization
Participation requires connecting your Strava account through Strava's OAuth authorization process. By connecting your Strava account, you authorize BibEvents to access:
- Basic profile information
- Activity type
- Distance
- Duration
- Date and time
- Relevant activity metadata necessary for challenge verification
This data is used solely to:
- Track and verify challenge participation
- Display progress within the platform
BibEvents does not sell, rent, or use Strava data for advertising purposes. BibEvents does not control how Strava processes or stores your data. Strava's data practices are governed by Strava's own privacy policies. You may revoke access at any time via your Strava account settings. Revoking access during an active challenge may result in disqualification.
5. Payments, Refunds & Transfers
All challenge registration fees are:
- Non-refundable once the challenge begins
- Non-transferable
- Not eligible for credit, extension, or deferral
No refunds will be issued for:
- Missed days
- Partial participation
- Voluntary withdrawal
- Disqualification
- Personal device or Strava synchronization issues
If BibEvents cancels a challenge before it begins, refunds may be issued at BibEvents' discretion.
6. Technical Limitations
The Consistency Challenge depends on third-party services including Strava and payment gateways. BibEvents is not responsible for:
- Strava outages or API changes
- Data synchronization failures
- Device tracking inaccuracies
- Internet disruptions
- Temporary service interruptions
- Loss of data caused by third-party systems
Participants are responsible for ensuring their Strava account and tracking devices function properly.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Consistency Challenge is an accountability platform only. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BibEvents shall not be liable for:
- Personal injury or medical issues
- Loss of data
- Technical disruptions
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of income or reputation
Participation is entirely at your own risk.
8. Termination
BibEvents reserves the right to suspend or terminate participation if a participant:
- Violates these Terms
- Engages in fraudulent activity
- Manipulates tracking data
- Misuses the platform
Termination decisions are at BibEvents' discretion.
9. Intellectual Property
All platform content, branding, challenge structure, text, graphics, and materials are the intellectual property of BibEvents. They may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.
10. Force Majeure
BibEvents shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, internet outages, third-party API changes, or infrastructure failures.
11. Modifications
BibEvents reserves the right to update challenge rules, platform features, or these Terms at any time. Updated Terms become effective upon publication. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws of India.
